Meghan’s Favorite Fondue:
On Christmas Eve, my Dad always made Fondue and at 89 years old, he keeps this tradition alive. We would have Cheese Fondue, I am including the recipe here, as well as a meat fondue. Dipping sauces and sourdough bread made these a special treat.
Ingredients:
10oz Emmentaler Cheese
6oz Danish Havarti
11oz White Cheddar
Combine 3T flour with grated cheese
Instructions:
Rub pot with garlic prior to adding wine
Heat 11/2 to 13/4C white wine until it bubbles
Slowly stir in cheese and stir until melted and blended
Add 2T Kirsch and 1T lime juice
