Meghan’s Favorite Fondue:

On Christmas Eve, my Dad always made Fondue and at 89 years old, he keeps this tradition alive.  We would have Cheese Fondue, I am including the recipe here, as well as a meat fondue.  Dipping sauces and sourdough bread made these a special treat. 

Ingredients:

  • 10oz Emmentaler Cheese

  • 6oz  Danish Havarti

  • 11oz White Cheddar

  • Combine 3T flour with grated cheese

 

Instructions:

  1. Rub pot with garlic prior to adding wine

  2. Heat 11/2 to 13/4C white wine until it bubbles

  3. Slowly stir in cheese and stir until melted and blended

  4. Add 2T Kirsch and 1T lime juice
